SJC Jakhama hosts 1st PG Erudite Fest

Post-graduate students of St Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Jakhama during their 1st Erudite Fest held on May 17.

The post-graduate students of St Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Jakhama organised the first ‘PG Erudite Fest’ under the theme, ‘A Dream to dream: Paradox of Competitive Exams’ at the college’s indoor stadium on May 17. 

Speaking at the inaugural session, M Phira, Inspector of Excise and Proprietor-cum-Mentor at Achiever’s Academy, who was special guest of the fest, shared on preparation for competitive exams and motivated the students based on his personal journey. 

Among others, he stressed that consistency and dedication coupled with number of hours spent in preparation, were “very vital for success.”

Earlier, SJC Principal, Fr Dr George Keduolhou Angami in his welcome address highlighted that the purpose of the programme was to impart knowledge on reaching one’s goals and enabling students to show their talents and roles in different capacities. The session also saw various inter-departmental competitions such as extempore speech, quiz and debates.

The 2nd session featured entertaining items and special performances by students and teachers as well as distribution of prizes to the winner of various competitions by Fr Dr George Rino, the SJC’ PG Coordinator.
