The Office of the Students’ Council, St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Jakhama successfully conducted the election for the PG Students’ Welfare Representatives on 22^nd March, 2022.

The following students were declared elected unopposed:

1. Ms. Alhounuo Janet, MA Political Science, 4^th Semester

2. Mr. Vevoto Kapu, MA Economics, 4^th Semester

The Oath Taking Ceremony was hosted by Ms. Nzano Kikon, Assistant Professor, Department of History. The ceremony commenced with invocation by Fr. George Rino, PG Co-ordinator followed by speech from the Principal, Dr. Fr. George Keduolhou Angami. The Principal motivated the students to excel in academics and to be prompt in taking up leadership.

The Oath Taking Ceremony was conducted by Captain Avizo Richa, Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science which was followed by a short speech from the newly elected representatives respectively: Ms. Alhounuo Janet and Mr. Vevoto Kapu. The ceremony was concluded with the Vote of Thanks.
