The Department of Mathematics, St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Jakhama in collaboration with CEDOK (Commission for Education Diocese of Kohima) successfully conducted the “All Nagaland State Level Math Quiz Competition” for class 10 students (NBSE syllabus) on 12^th November, 2022. All together 16 schools participated from Dimapur, Mokokchung, Longleng and Kohima. The event was graced by the presence of Rev. Fr. Dr. Jacob Charalel, Secretary CEDOK, who gave a very inspiring message on becoming a successful person and with that he declared the competition open. Modern School, New Market, Kohima represented by Mr.MUNA KUMAR and Mr.RICHARD KUOTSU secured the first position with a cash prize of 25k with certificate, followed by Little Flower Higher Secondary School, Kohima represented by Ms.METEJOPINU KHANYO and Ms.ALEENA ANN ABEY secured the second position with cash prize of 20k with certificate. The third position was awarded to Queen Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Mokokchung represented by Ms.Supongmenla Kichu and Mr. Likhuli Sangtam with a cash prize of 15k with certificate. Consolation prizes were awared to Holy Cross Higher Secondary School, Dimapur and St. Joseph’s Higher Secondary School, Viswema both with cash prize of 5k along with certificate.
