The NSS Units of St Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Jakhama observed the 53th NSS Day along with the nation at college basketball court. The program begins at 12:00 pm with a brief note from Mr. Kelengol Neikha, Programme Officer, SJC(A). He encouraged the volunteers to be an authentic selfless volunteer contributing their best towards community building. Mr. Vikato Swu, Programme Officer, SJC(A), shared on clean and hygienic way of hand washing method based on the theme “Cleanliness and Hygiene”, leading the volunteers in taking the swachhta pledge. Ms.Tokani L, Programme Officer , SJC(A), briefed the volunteers on the required procedures of carrying out the cleanliness drive in and around the campus. The day culminates with cleanliness drive in and around the college campus.
